On 2 September 2025, Senate issued a press release on the results of the visit of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Chairman of the Cambodian People’s Party, to attend the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
During the visit, Samdech Techo held bilateral discussions with a number of Vietnamese leaders, including General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the National Assembly, and Prime Minister.
